Die Suite "The Rough Dancer and the Cyclical Night" ist hingegen weitestgehend unbekannt und wird im zweiten Konzert zum ersten Mal in Europa zu hören sein. Seit der Einspielung des Werkes auf Tonträger im Jahr 1987 wurde dieses Stück aufgrund nicht existierenden Notenmaterials nicht mehr aufgeführt. Das Ensemble Nueva Pasión hebt dieses "Labyrinth aus Glas und Spiegeln" nun im Piazzolla-Jahr 2021 erneut aus der Taufe. In diesem Werk geht Piazzolla sowohl zurück zu den Wurzeln des Tango als auch weit über die Grenzen des Tango Nuevo hinaus und verbindet Elemente des Tangos und der klassischen Musik mit Anklängen des Jazz.
„The Rough Dancer and the Cyclical Night“, played in the second concert, is an almost unknown suite and will be performed for the first time in Europe. After it's original recording in 1987 this work didn't find it's way onto the stage due to non-existent music material. Ensemble Nueva Pasión relaunches this „labyrinth made of glass and mirrors“ in the Piazzolla Year 2021. In this work Piazzolla goes back to the roots of the tango and equally far beyond the borders of Tango Nuevo by combining tango elements with classical music and Jazz at the same time.

"Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas" - Die vier Jahreszeiten von Buenos Aires, Astor Piazzollas wohl bekanntester Zyklus, erklingt im ersten der beiden Konzerte. In diesem Werk geht es nicht wie bei Vivaldi um die meteorologischen Jahreszeiten. Der argentinische Komponist versinnbildlicht den Puls der Großstadt, lässt das bürgerliche Buenos Aires vor unseren Augen erstehen, den Tango Nuevo, die Seele von Buenos Aires. Piazzolla verbindet mit einzigartiger Raffinesse die Rhythmen des Tango mit Elementen europäischer Barockmusik - natürlich als Hommage an Vivaldi. Hier können die "klassisch" ausgebildeten Musiker des Ensembles ihr ganzes musikalisches Spektrum beweisen, indem sie dem Komponisten als Interpreten folgen und klassische Spielweisen mit argentinischem Tango verbinden.
„Las Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas“ - The Four Seasons Of Buenos Aires, perhaps the most popular cycle by Astor Piazzolla, will be heard in the first concert. Different to Vivaldi in his „Four Seasons“, Piazzolla did not mean to describe the meteorological seasons but the pulse of Buenos Aires, the Tango Nuevo, the soul of the city. Therefore he combines the tango rythms with elements of the European baroque music – obviously as a tribute to Vivaldi. In this work „classical“ musicians can show a different part of their musical spectrum, following the composer's intentions by combining the classical style with Tango Argentino
